JACK McDADEOwner and President Jack began his career at the company in 1993. His day-to-day responsibilities include strategic decision-making, operational oversight, as well as customer relations and development. He assumed the role of President in 1999, following the retirement of his father, Roger, who founded J.R. McDade Company in 1959. Jack is a 1990 graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He, his wife and family live in Scottsdale. BRUCE MERZCustomer Service ManagerAn Arizona native, Bruce has more than three decades of management and customer service experience. What’s more, we’re proud and delighted to say that Bruce has been with the J.R. McDade Company more than thirty years and holds the notable title of having been with us longer than anyone else. He is the embodiment of our Mission Statement’s goal of meeting and exceeding customer expectations through superior service. RUSSELL H. (“RUSTY”) HELWIGProduction & Operations Manager, Residential Builder DivisionRuss recently celebrated twenty-four years with the J.R. McDade Company, having begun his tenure with us on April 16, 1986. Originally hired as a Field Supervisor, he has occupied several positions within company, to his current leadership role as division manager. His two decades of experience with us enable Russ to bring invaluable insight into top-to bottom operations. His professional motto is the same the company has maintained for years: Service. Service. Service. Russ and his wife reside in Peoria with their 3 children. GARRY SCHMIDTGeneral Manager, Multi-Housing/Commercial Division & Residential Builder Sales DivisionGarry has been heading up our Multi-housing Division, one of our oldest divisions, since 1997, and our Residential Builder Sales Division since 2007. Prior, he held various positions with the carpet manufacturer, Shaw Industries. Garry holds a Business Administration Degree from the University of Kansas. Go Jayhawks! Garry, his wife and two children live in Phoenix. LISA CUNNINGHAMOperations & Showroom Manager, Scottsdale Builder DivisionA native of Arizona, Lisa’s extensive experience includes twenty years of builder sales in flooring and associated finishes; six years in Construction/Purchasing with the largest builders in Phoenix; and three years with a semi-custom homebuilder, where she was involved in all phases of the building process, including, design inception, client consultations, and construction. Lisa holds a B.S. in Psychology from ASU, and has done Post Graduate work in construction. Married for twenty-nine years, Lisa has one daughter and in her spare time volunteers with Rapport Leadership International and along with her husband, is an avid "foodie." RICHARD STACHELTucson Division Manager Richard has been with J.R. McDade since 1992. With over fifteen years experience in the flooring business, as well as twelve years in property management, Richard brings a diverse and educated perspective to the company. He holds an Associative Arts degree in Management, and has been married for more than twenty-four years. The proud father of a seven year-old son, Richard is also a martial artist, an avid outdoorsman, and an historian of the Old West.
Sales Manager, Multi-housing Division In 1989, Susan began her career in the apartment industry working for the Arizona Multihousing Association. Five years later, she left the AMA, accepting a position with Globe Furniture Rentals as an Account Executive. In 1997 Susan joined the Multihousing team at J.R. McDade Company, where she currently is the Sales Manager. Susan is also the proud mother of a University of Arizona Wildcat son – and still has three dogs and a cat (not wild) at home. |
